Five: Men's Division 1, Men's Division 2, Men's Masters (over 40), Women's Division 1, and Women's Division 2.

Final division placement is set by the organizing committee once registration closes, and teams may be moved to balance the draw.

$1000 per team plus $100 per player**. Registration covers tournament play, transportation to and from the choice hotel as well awards banquet dinner. Register at napst2026.com.

All tournament accommodation is at the Westin Calgary Downtown, our official host hotel, booked through the tournament room block. Booking inside the block is what funds the tournament and keeps our donation to the Calgary Police Youth Foundation as large as possible, and shuttle service runs from the host hotel only.

Buses run between the host hotel and Calgary Rugby Park each game morning and afternoon, and some transport is provided to event nights.

Airport transfers will be arranged for as many players and teams that we can accomodate! Teams that stay outside the host hotel are responsible for their own transportation.

Tuesday September 15 at Trolley 5, Wednesday September 16 at Ranchman’s, Thursday September 17 at Last Best, and Friday September 18 the banquet followed by Whiskey Rose.

Yes. Calgary Rugby Park is open to spectators during game hours at no charge, with food trucks, a licensed bar, washrooms and a playground on site.

Games go ahead rain or shine. The Calgary Rugby Union has confirmed play continues in wet weather. Only lightning or a formal safety direction will stop play, and the committee will communicate any change through team managers and the tournament group chat.

NAPST 2026 is run entirely by volunteers from the Calgary Police Service and is self-funded through registration, sponsorship and fundraising. All surplus proceeds go to the Calgary Police Youth Foundation, which supports crime prevention, education and early intervention programs for young people in Calgary.
